Drama Llama Knitting Company produces handspun and Hand-dyed yarns, as well as knitting accessories and patterns.

Our dream: By moving towards selling yarn from local-ish, ethically sourced fiber, we hope you bring your sweater a little bit closer (figuratively speaking) to the sheep it came from. (Or alpaca, or goat, or bundle of flax!)

For those about to craft, we salute you.

On The Wheel:

I just finished spinning a laceweight single out of 2 ounces of Tussah Silk dyed by Sweet Georgia Yarn in the colorway Maple.

Now I’m spinning up 2 ounces of Canadian-grown BFL-Jacob blend in  a gorgeous dark brown with stray gray hairs. I’m spinning it woolen, which is a change for me.

Once they’ve both been spun, I’m going to ply them to make a gorgeous autumn yarn.

So excited!
